There are literally thousands of free knitting patterns on the web, but all too often, they tend to be cut from the same mold. In other words, they’re boring! So what’s the creative-minded knitter to do? Why, branch out, of course. There are more interesting free knitting patterns out there. You just have to be willing to find them. Or, if scouring the web doesn’t pique your interest, you could start here with our pre-screened knitting patterns for the fun and creative knitter. 1. Knitting Fairy Knitting Fairy doesn’t have hundreds of free knitting patterns like some sites, but the ones they do have are pure gold, from the “murder mystery bag” to their selections of bookmarks and funky scarves. The creative knitter is sure to find projects here to pique their interest. 2. Coats and Clark You might find some more commonplace knitting patterns on this site, but it’s to be expected with such a massive selection of free knitting patterns available.
