Big news: The Knitting for Charity website has a new look! It’s cleaner and, I think, a little more updated. The site’s makeover is still in its early stages, but there are already some great new features. These include:
1) Comments! You can now comment directly on Knitting for Charity’s posts. You can ask questions, add suggestions, or offer any other kind of feedback you’d like. This is the site’s biggest change and the one I personally am the most excited about.
2) A much cleaner sidebar. The old site’s sidebar was a little out of control, I know. Categories and archived posts seemed to stretch on forever. Both are still accessible, but now they’re available through drop-down menu boxes rather than endless scrolling.
3) Mobile responsiveness. I know that many readers use their mobile devices to access websites. The old site required a lot of scrolling to see content properly on a phone or tablet. Not so with the new site; it’ll automatically snap to the dimensions of whatever device you use (this includes smartphones and tablets). This will make the site a lot more enjoyable to navigate!
In addition, new posts to Knitting for Charity will appear automatically on its Facebook and Twitter accounts.
I’m still looking to make further improvements, including more photos, cleaned up posts from the past, and so on. All of which will be devoted to making Knitting for Charity more enjoyable and beneficial for everyone.
Thank you for your continued support of Knitting for Charity!
