Knitting with beads provides instant glamour and glitz to a knitting project. While I have often admired the beauty of shawls, hats, gloves, and scarves adorned with beads, I have never actually tried it myself. If you’re new to knitting with beads, too, here’s help! What I love about the idea of knitting with beads is not only how beautiful it makes finished projects, but also how inexpensive it is. Beads can be purchased very inexpensively at craft stores. As a bonus, beads take up very little space. (Which is good, because I hear knitting with beads can be addictive!) Below are a couple of tutorials for knitting with beads, followed by several patterns using beads!
