On a Budget? Discount Knitting Yarn is Perfect

How to find discount knitting yarn for every project

Discount knitting yarn is not necessarily 'cheap quality', it just means being able to buy it at a discounted price. I've bought lots of discount knitting yarn that also happens to be 100% pure virgin wool, mohair or silk!

DID YOU KNOW … that cashmere fleece comes from a Cashmere goat, which are raised mainly in Asia, at elevations of 10,000 -- 15,000 ft. -- hence their very warm, soft fleece. Cashmere wool is expensive because one goat produces only 4 ounces of fleece a year.

So it is possible to find discount knitting yarn that's good, high quality yarn - you just need to know where to look.

FINDING DISCOUNT KNITTING YARN

The first thing you need to do to find discount knitting yarn is to check with your local yarn store - they may regularly have a bin or big basket of yarn for sale because it's the end of a dye lot, or because it didn't sell well (but it's JUST exactly what you need to finish a project!). While you're there, ask them how often they have sales of discount knitting yarn. Most yarn stores plan their sales months in advance, so they'll know.

Many yarn stores hold regular seasonal sales, and you can find lots of discount knitting yarn. If you're lucky enough to have several yarn stores in your area, you can really 'hit the jackpot' with discount knitting yarn!

DISCOUNT KNITTING YARN ONLINE

Another place where you can find lots of discount knitting yarn is on the Internet. Knitting has become 'hot, hot, hot,' and these days, anything that's hot, hot, hot has found a place online. In fact, the competition among yarn suppliers has become so fierce that there is more and more discount knitting yarn available, online, at cheaper and cheaper prices. And the really wonderful thing is that the variety of discount knitting yarn that's available keeps getting bigger and bigger as the competition heats up, too!

So you can have your discount knitting yarn and QUALITY, too!
