So you want to learn to knit? Join the thousands of other women - and men! - across North America who are either stepping up to re-learn or learn to knit, these days. If you want to learn to knit, there are several ways you can do it:
LEARN TO KNIT
1. Check with your local yarn store or supplier - they probably give individual lessons, or group classes, quite often - and you may be able to sign up immediately to learn to knit!
2. If you don't have a local yarn store, check with your local community college, or with neighborhood volunteer associations. Many of them will have a volunteer teaching a class that you can join, inexpensively - or even for free.
3. Buy a learn to knit book. There are several excellent (and inexpensive) learn to knit books available in easy-to-understand formatting and language. You'll find the best selling knitting books below.
4. Online. There are literally thousands of knitting sites online now, both personal and corporate, and many of them have learn to knit tutorials or lessons of some kind that are well-explained, and often nicely illustrated. You can easily - and quickly - teach yourself, if you want to learn to knit!
