This bikini top offers good coverage and the bottoms fit like bike shorts. So if more coverage is what you want, you'll like this suit. Knit in a cute stripe pattern, this suit would look great in a number of color combinations.
Okay. Maybe the name of this swimsuit isn't too appealing. You have to admit though, that it has good lines. If you have the figure for this suit -- go for it. The designer suggests this suit may not be suitable for swimming but would look great paired with a skirt for a night on the town.
This pattern definitely doesn't get any points for creativity as far as the name goes. But, it is a basic bikini pattern with good lines and includes a pattern you can use as a cami.
The name of this pattern says it all...tiny. Designed for twin sisters, these tops can either be swimsuit tops or halter tops. Pair them with a pair of shorts or skirt and they would make a great summer outfit.
A Word of Warning
All of these free knitting patterns are cute and make some great looking swimsuits. But, if you notice, all of these patterns call for 100% cotton. This really isn't a good idea. To make these suits wearable, you would need to use a yarn that has some acrylic content and/or line the tops and bottoms. By lining the suit with regular material, it would stabilize the pieces to reduce stretching and prevent a see-through suit.
