Colorado Knitting Charities Help Warm Body and Soul
Join these knitting charities as they warm the children of Colorado
Colorado may be cold, but the hearts of the knitting charities based there are not. These wonderful charities concentrate on keeping those in need warm and toasty. They would love to have you knit for charity and donate hand-knit items to help people in need.
Warm hearts -- Warm babies
This wonderful charity provides clothing, blankets, and other essential items to premature and newborn babies and young children in crisis. They gratefully accept donations of booties, hats, mittens, sweaters, and afghans in premature sizes up to size 4 toddler.

Warm the World
The goal of Warm the World is to provide a warm touch to those in need. The volunteers that work for Warm the World know how important knitting for charity truly is. They feel that sometimes it's just knowing a complete stranger created a beautiful hand-knit or crochet item just for them, and it is enough to brighten even the darkest day.
Warm the World is a 100% volunteer organization that makes handmade afghans for children without a home. They are currently focusing on children in the U.S. that are in foster care, non-profit pregnancy centers, and the at-risk independent elderly.
You can help Warm the World by making your donations of blankets, hats, and scarves. Contact Nan Sullivan at 1-719-276-0021 for more information.
